London's Best Sunday Walking Street(visited the area)

Southwark Street (and the Jubilee Walkway that's part of it) is the recently remodelled walkway along the south side of the Thames River in London.

My boyfriend took me for a romantic walk along this river, and I loved it. This is the walkway that has the London Eye (the giant ferris wheel), Shakespeare's Globe theatre, and many many other great things to see.

We visited the Tate Modern Museum here, where my favorite thing was a giant ball that you stepped inside. The ball muffled all sound and you saw yourself all crooked and distorted and it made you feel dizzy.

I also loved the street performers and musicians, the Imax theatre (I saw a giant Natalie Portman here) and a big used booksale that took over an entire city block.

This is a great place to spend a weekend afternoon strolling and people-watching.
