Popular among antipodeans (visited the area)

Known, in London, as the home of scores of antipodeans, Earls Court is enjoying steady growth and an increase in the value of property here. An inner-city town just a couple of miles from central London, Earls Court is bordered by plush suburbs such as South Kensington, West Kensington and Chelsea. It is home to roughly 10,000 people as well as the Earls Court Exhibition Centre, which is one of the largest indoor arenas in the UK. There is quite a number of very beautiful properties in Earls Court which are surrounded by private gardens. The architecture of properties in the area is generally Victorian and displays of this are most evident on such properties as Bramham Gardens, Courtfield Gardens, Nevern Sqaure, Philbeach Gardens and both Collingham and Harrington Roads, although the properties on these streets are predominantly now used as embassies. Earls Court is the perfect location for those working in London and who enjoy living in the thick of it all. From Earls Court you can access High Street Kensington, Holland Park, Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, the Royal Albert Hall, Imperial College and a number of museums all by foot. There is, however, a tube station which provides links to all of central London and which is based in zone 1. Earls Court's other attractions include the multi-award winning Finborough Theatre and The Troubadour, a coffee house and music venue which has seen the likes of Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix and Elvis Costello perform there. There are also several restaurants, supermarkets, general stores, take away food outlets and pubs in Earls Court.
