Nice quiet street with little atmosphere(visited the area)

A tiny street directly off the main road running through Coulsdon, Station Approach is home to a small number of buildings of flats and offers the convenience of two mainline train stations (Smitham and Coulsdon South), both of which service London.

The area is quite nice and sits just off the entrance to Brighton Road, which leads onto the M25. The local road recently underwent improvement, which only added to the appeal of this part of Surrey.

Residents of Station Approach have access to all the amenities on the main road through Coulsdon, which include supermarkets, banks, food outlets, a library, and a vast array of shops, all within a minute’s walk away.

Bad points about this street include lack of nightlife, a small yet very noticeable industrial estate directly behind Station Approach, and the fact that the railway line runs right behind you. However you don’t need your own transport thanks to the rail links, and the off roads have everything you need within arms reach. For weekend shopping and going out however, you would have to venture further into a bigger location.

The most likely candidates for living in Station Approach would be commuters and young professionals.
